1.Background

Extracurricular activities are essential for student development, offering much more than just fun. They provide opportunities for students to discover their strengths, build trust, and learn teamwork, while also improving time management and concentration skills to help balance academic responsibilities. With these objectives in mind, a two-week acrobatic program as per the planned have done by the team of seven experienced instructors from Waldoni Crew Germany, will voluntarily guide and support students at the Azad Secondary School Panchkhal Municipality -12. Although this will be their first visit to Nepal, the team has successfully conducted this program presenting all the Municipality Mayor, vice Mayor and education section head with Ward chairman, Parents, CAN Country Director, Executive Director and team, Ujyalo Nepal Team AZAD School family. The program will not only enhance students' life skills, such as leadership and collaboration, but also promote mental well-being by offering enjoyable activities outside of academics. The initiative will culminate in a final performance on the school grounds, where parents and fellow students will celebrate the participants’ learning and achievements. This program aims to inspire personal growth, foster creativity, and create a memorable experience for all involved. The program was successfully completed from November 1st to 14th, 2025.

All participants, including the children, Waldoni Crew, and school staff, were very happy with the active participation of the children and the hard work of the crew.

Key Learnings from the Acrobatics Program

The Program provided important for students to discover their strengths, build trust, and learn teamwork. Some major learnings include:

  • Strong leadership and collaboration with team work.
  • The enjoyable activities outside of academics.
  • Anyone can join this program and enjoy it.
  • Participants in acrobatics must strengthen their physical abilities
  • This program should be expanded to primary schools.

6.Recommendations

The following recommendations are proposed:

  • Collect full information before implementation.
  • Select children under 17 years of age carefully for optimal results
  • Very challenges in materials collection and identify required materials clearly.
  • Ensure the team clarifies the budget details
  • Establish one acrobatics team in Panchkhal Municipality.
  • The program duration should exceed 2 weeks for better results.

Conclusion

The program was highly inspiring for outdoor education. The crew demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork, and physical abilities as a powerful example. For the acrobatics program, support from the municipality or ward is needed, with an allocated budget within the academic year for two schools.

For continued practice, schools must prioritize safety and establish a dedicated acrobatics team. The school should create its own acrobatics team. If any school or location needs an acrobatics program, Azad SS can provide a proven team.
